Amidst the relentless heat, devotees adorned in humility embarked on this sacred journey, traversing barefoot, bearing saffron flags aloft, and reverberating the atmosphere with melodious chants in honor of Lord Ram. The rhythmic beats of drums intertwined with jubilant cries of 'Jai Shree Ram' heralded the commencement of the 5.25-kilometer procession, commencing from Bhikharipur crossing and culminating at the revered Sankat Mochan Temple.

Blessed by the auspices of Mahant Swami Shankar Puri of Annapurna Temple and committee chairman Rambali Maurya, the yatra unfolded majestically, weaving through the tapestry of devotion and tradition. A magnificent 25-feet long tableau adorned with a replica of the divine Ram temple from Ayodhya, along with a 14-inch likeness of Ram Lalla, adorned the procession, encapsulating the essence of divine sanctity.

A spectacle to behold, the tableau of Shri Ram Darbar, mounted on a majestic 60-feet chariot, resonated with the celestial melodies of the Kirtan troupe from Sankat Mochan Mandir, accompanied by a procession of 251 damru players, infusing the atmosphere with celestial vibrations.

Drawing devotees from every corner of Purvanchal, the yatra became a confluence of spirituality and communal harmony, as 11,000 flags were tendered at the feet of Sankat Mochan Hanuman, invoking blessings for the welfare of humanity. The pinnacle of devotion manifested as committee chairman Rambali Maurya ceremoniously presented the colossal 25-feet main flag, symbolizing collective reverence and adoration.
