With an estimated project cost of 650 crores for the highway, work is already underway between Varanasi and Kapsehti, witnessing substantial progress over the past year. Meanwhile, construction of the Morwa Bridge over the Morwa River in Bhadohi's Carpet City has commenced, further adding to the region's infrastructural upliftment.

Recent inspections by the Chief Executive Officer of Northern Railways, Suresh Kumar Sapra, have confirmed the finalization of the bridge's blueprint and other necessary details. Simultaneously, the National Highway authorities are preparing to swiftly mobilize construction materials to kickstart their segment of the project.
