A Vision Takes Flight:
The inception of this visionary project dates back to 2018, preceding the monumental 2019 Kumbh Mela. Conceived to enhance the tourism experience and showcase the majestic beauty of the Sangam, the proposal gained momentum with government approval of the detailed project report (DPR).

Navigating Obstacles:
Despite initial setbacks, including land acquisition challenges and objections from defense authorities, the project has persevered. With preparations intensifying for the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025, the ropeway has been prioritized among key infrastructure developments.

New Heights, New Route:
Under the revised DPR and alignment, the ropeway will span from the revered Shankar Viman Mandapam temple near Bade Hanuman temple and fort to Arail bandh road in the first phase. Addressing security concerns raised by the military, the Ministry of Defence has granted the necessary clearance, paving the way for progress.

Technical Specifications:
The ropeway, spanning a total length of 2.2km, will feature 15 cable cars, each accommodating up to 10 passengers. This modern transportation marvel promises to significantly reduce travel time between Viman Mandapam and Triveni Pushp, enhancing accessibility and convenience for pilgrims and tourists alike.
