Revamping Varanasi: Road Reconstruction Initiatives Underway
In a bid to rejuvenate the streetscape of Varanasi, a transformational endeavor is underway, with a focus on revamping roads across various wards, including Ramdattapur, Akatha, and Sarnath. Mayor Ashok Tiwari spearheaded the inauguration of 11 developmental projects, signaling a concerted effort towards infrastructural upliftment. Directives were promptly issued to responsible agencies to ensure timely completion of construction endeavors.
Outlined below are the ambitious road reconstruction projects slated for implementation:
Ward 24 - Ramdattapur:
Initiated with the groundbreaking ceremony from Amarjeet Patel's residence to Ram Sakal Patel's abode, this project entails the installation of interlocking tiles, with an estimated cost of INR 51,46,000.
Ward 41 - Akatha:
Under the purview of Rouna Bela Marg, the project extends from S.P. Singh's residence to D.K. Soni S.A. 7/5 C-141. It encompasses the installation of interlocking tiles and drainage systems, amounting to INR 38,92,000.
Ward 41 - Akatha:
Within the confines of the hilly terrain of Ward 41, the project spans from Rudra Apartments to Pyare Mohan's residence, extending westward to Ramgopal's dwelling, and culminating at Amit Kumar Singh's abode. This endeavor focuses on road widening and resurfacing, with a budget of INR 46,70,000.
Ward 33 - Sarnath:
Located in Parshurampur, adjacent to the primary school near Shri Avdhesh Rai's residence, this project targets the internal lanes leading up to S.H. Gurukul Global. It involves the installation of interlocking tiles, with an allocated budget of INR 28,93,000.
