Fulfilling the Demand: Ramcharitmanas Available for Free Download Amidst Surge in Requests

Introduction:
Ever since the announcement of the consecration of Shri Ramlala Prana Pratishtha in Ayodhya, Geeta Press in Gorakhpur has faced the challenge of meeting the soaring demand for Ramcharitmanas. Lalmani Tripathi, the manager of Geeta Press, revealed plans to upload Ramcharitmanas on their website starting January 16, allowing free downloads for a period of 15 days

Meeting the Demand:
In response to the growing demand, Tripathi stated, "We are uploading Ramcharitmanas on Geeta Press's website, and it will be available for free download from Tuesday. We will provide this service for 15 days, enabling 50 thousand people to download it." In anticipation of increased demand, he added, "We will enhance its capacity, allowing up to one lakh people to download Ramcharitmanas simultaneously. The duration of this service can also be extended."

Rising Enthusiasm:
Tripathi noted that ever since the announcement of the "Prana Pratishtha" ceremony at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, there has been a surge in the demand for Ramcharitmanas. People are eager to recite Ramcharitmanas, Sundarkand, and Hanuman Chalisa on a large scale. He emphasized, "Now, considering this demand, if we compare it to last year, we used to print and distribute approximately 75,000 books. However, due to limited space, we are unable to fulfill the demand for printing and distribution this year."

Challenges Faced:
Regrettably, Geeta Press is currently unprepared to suddenly print and make available two to four lakh copies of Ramcharitmanas. Despite successfully making one lakh copies available since last month, the demand remains unmet, and the available stock is insufficient. Tripathi shared, "Unfortunately, we are not prepared to suddenly print and make available two to four lakh copies of Ramcharitmanas. Even after making one lakh copies available from last month, the demand is not being met, and we do not have sufficient stock. In many places, we have to humbly request that we do not have stock available."

Conclusion:
As anticipation and enthusiasm for the Prana Pratishtha ceremony grow, Geeta Press strives to meet the overwhelming demand for Ramcharitmanas, embracing the digital realm to make this sacred text accessible to a wider audience. The free download initiative aims to connect more devotees with the teachings of Ramayana during this significant period.
