 New Entry Gates for Devotees

To accommodate the influx of devotees during Sawan, two new entry gates are being constructed. One gate is located near Silko Gali, while the other is being built behind the Pinak Bhavan. These gates aim to streamline the entry process, reducing congestion and making it easier for pilgrims to reach the sanctum.

Dedicated Entry for Kashi Residents

Recognizing the unique needs of the local residents, a special entry gate, named the Kashi Dwar, is being constructed. This gate will be located at Nandu Faria Gali, providing an exclusive pathway for Kashi residents to enter the Dham. This initiative not only honors the local devotees but also helps in better crowd management.

 Comprehensive Inspection and Preparations

On Friday, Kaushal Raj Sharma, the Chairman of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust and Divisional Commissioner, along with DCP Security Suryakant Tripathi, conducted an inspection of the Dham. The inspection was aimed at assessing the ongoing preparations for Sawan, ensuring that all plans are on track to accommodate the large number of visitors.

During the inspection, the Divisional Commissioner evaluated the proposals for the Kashi Dwar and reviewed the construction progress at the new entry gates near Silko Gali and Pinak Bhavan. Additionally, he examined the existing entry and exit points, including Nandu Faria Gali and Ganga Dwar, to ensure they are ready to handle the expected crowds.

Enhancing Facilities and Coordination

The focus of the inspection extended beyond just the entry points. The Divisional Commissioner emphasized the importance of providing adequate facilities to the devotees during Sawan. He instructed all departments to work in coordination to ensure a seamless experience for the pilgrims.

A detailed management plan for Sawan is being prepared, with instructions to present it within two days. An inter-departmental coordination meeting is scheduled for Monday to finalize the preparations and ensure that all departments are aligned in their efforts.

 Ensuring a Smooth Experience

SDM Shambhu Sharan shared that the construction of ramps is underway at the new entry points to facilitate easier access for all devotees. The proposal to use Nandu Faria Gali for Kashi residents' entry will be discussed in the temple security committee meeting. Once approved, this new arrangement will be implemented during Sawan.

The new developments at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham are set to significantly improve the experience for devotees during the sacred month of Sawan. With additional entry gates, dedicated pathways for locals, and enhanced facilities, the administration is ensuring that the pilgrimage to this holy site is both smooth and fulfilling. As preparations continue, the commitment to better manage the influx of pilgrims and provide them with a serene and organized environment remains steadfast.
