Grand Inauguration of Raag Seva at Ayodhya's Ram Mandir: A Celebration of Artistic Tradition
In a momentous event aligning with the revered traditions, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya is set to host the inauguration of Raag Seva from today, January 26, 2024. The information has been shared by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra through their official X handle.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, echoing the classical heritage, will witness the initiation of Raag Seva starting January 26, 2024. The announcement comes through the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra's official X handle, stating, "In accordance with the classical tradition, Raag Seva will be organized in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir from January 26, 2024. This event will take place in the divine Gudi Mandap, where more than 100 renowned artists from various regions and artistic traditions will dedicate their musical offerings to Lord Shri Ram for the next 45 days. The visionary and coordinator for this program are Yatindra Mishra, appointed by the Trust."
Adding to the cultural richness, the Raag Seva event will feature artists presenting their musical tributes to Lord Shri Ram in the presence of the divine deity. The 45-day long program aims to bring together diverse talents from across the country, fostering a celebration of devotion through the medium of classical music.
Furthermore, the Ram Mandir Trust is actively supporting this cultural extravaganza, ensuring the well-being of devotees by organizing 40 to 45 langars (community kitchens). It is noteworthy that the consecration of the life-size idol of Lord Ram took place on January 22, 2024, followed by an overwhelming turnout of over five lakh devotees the next day.
