Under the supervision of the competent team at C&D Projects, plans are underway to revamp and modernize the existing infrastructure. Led by Project Manager ARAM, the initiative has already kickstarted with the assessment and clearance of the old building, paving the way for a fresh start.
Referencing a letter issued on February 13th, which cites a previous communication dated January 10th, Project Manager ARAM highlights the administrative and financial approval granted amounting to 4828.99 lakhs INR for the construction of the modern bus station in Baliya. The first installment of 1690.1465 lakhs INR has already been released, marking significant progress in the e-tendering process.
It's worth noting that the designated construction site has been prepared, including the demolition of old structures, as per the directives of the transportation department. With a focus on expediting the project, ARAM has requested an assessment and demolition of any remaining old buildings on-site to ensure smooth construction operations.
Engaging the expertise of PWD engineers, including senior accountant Mahesh Pandey from the Baliya depot, the process of evaluation and demolition of the old structures is in full swing, signaling the active involvement of relevant authorities.
Looking ahead, Mahesh Pandey shares insights into the operational transition plan. From March onwards, the official activities of the ARAM office and bus terminal will relocate to the operational workshop located adjacent to the bustling Baliya depot. Despite the transition, bus services will continue to operate from the old terminal until the new facility is fully operational, ensuring minimal disruption to commuters.
