In a spectacular display of prowess, the Indian Cricket Team clinched victory against Australia in the fourth T20 of the five-match series, not only securing the series under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav but also etching their name in history by attaining the record for the most wins in T20 Internationals.
Under Suryakumar Yadav's leadership, the Men in Blue triumphed over Australia in the fourth T20 in Raipur, securing a 20-run victory. This remarkable achievement propelled Team India to claim the title of the team with the highest number of victories in T20 Internationals, surpassing their arch-rivals Pakistan.
Team India now proudly holds the record for the most T20 International victories, having played a total of 213 matches. Out of these, they have emerged victorious in 136 encounters while facing defeat in 67. In contrast, Pakistan, with 226 matches played, has secured victories in 135 and faced defeat in 82.
Prior to the series against Australia, Pakistan held the record, but India, by winning three out of the four matches against Australia, established their dominance and rewrote the record books.
Following India and Pakistan in the T20 International victories chart is New Zealand, standing at the third position. The Kiwi team boasts 102 wins out of 200 matches, with 83 losses. Australia follows closely behind in the fourth position with 95 wins and 79 losses in 182 T20 Internationals. South Africa rounds up the top five, having clinched victory in 95 out of 171 matches, with 72 losses.
