Varanasi Celebrates Dhanteras with Five Days of Abundance at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham

This year, Dhanteras, the auspicious festival, brings an extraordinary celebration at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham in Varanasi. For five consecutive days, this sacred place will witness the blessings of wealth and prosperity. Devotees will have the unique opportunity to seek the darshan of Goddess Annapurna's idol and receive the divine blessings of food and wealth.

The administration of Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been working diligently to prepare for this grand event. The temple will be adorned with magnificent decorations, including stunning banners. During the Annapurna Parva, a generous offering of 21 quintals of prasad will be distributed.

Prof. Nagendra Pandey, Chairman of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, revealed that on the 10th of November, the temple's gates will open for the grand aarti and puja dedicated to Mata Annapurna's darshan. Subsequently, regular devotees will have the privilege of witnessing Mata Annapurna. All visitors will receive prasad, a divine offering of food and wealth.

The temple administration has made elaborate arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for all pilgrims. The temple's Chief Executive Officer, Sunil Kumar Verma, mentioned that officials and staff have been assigned shifts to manage the event effectively. Additionally, separate queues for darshan and prasad collection have been set up.
