Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on India
In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has gained significant attention and discussion due to various reasons and issues. NITI Aayog has been entrusted with the responsibility of developing a national program for research and development in technologies like AI, as well as preparing a national strategy for AI. To fulfill this responsibility, NITI Aayog is working on the National Artificial Intelligence Policy with the National Data and Analytics Portal to enable widespread utilization of artificial intelligence.
Google's artificial intelligence company, DeepMind, is working on several projects in collaboration with the British National Health Service. Artificial intelligence and machine learning are often used interchangeably, but there is a clear distinction between the two to avoid confusion.
